White Star Park Professional Review and Guide
"This 797-acre park is an interesting one, to be sure. Like many parks, it has a lake that serves as the center of much activity. That means swimming, boating, and fishing for species such as bluegills, bullhead and channel catfish, trout, bass, and yellow perch. Here, though, the lake is also a haven for scuba divers. This was an old limestone quarry and the water is exceptionally clear, so much so that this is considered one of the finest inland diving locations in Ohio. There are some underwater “trails,” too. They allow divers to explore a sunken police cruiser, motorcycle, boats, and a panel truck."
