"Travel an interconnected series of paths through a mix of environments, from hilly flower-filled woods to steep hollows shaded by big trees to level green fields left over from agricultural days to 200-foot bluffs. Different times of year will bring different rewards on this nicely maintained Hamilton County park. The 270-acre property sits on a crest between Five Mile Creek to the north and the Ohio River to the south. The overwhelming majority of the property is in a natural state, exceptions being a small tract around the house that is kept groomed and also some fields left over from farming days. One negative: I-275 is a little too close, and road noise from the interstate drifts into the preserve."
