Harrison Lake State Park Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"This park is an oasis, not in that it’s an island of green in a desert, but in that it’s an island of woods in a land of acre upon acre of corn, soybeans, and other farm products. It’s small at 142 acres. But there’s fun to be had. The park has a lake for boating, swimming, and fishing, with everything from largemouth and smallmouth bass to northern pike and crappies to be caught. There’s even a section of lake set aside for swimming with your dog. Be sure if you visit to hike the 3.5-mile trail that circles the lake. It not only provides some good access for shore fishing, but is often a gateway for seeing some of the park’s wildlife."
