A good trail especially along the Olentangy, the rest of the park is a bit barren. I would not give credit to the full 5.8 miles of the trial, perhaps only a mile or so. Take advantage of spending some time on the river's banks and wandering on the stones!

This was a good trail to take the family on. The paths are well marked and maintained. Certain paths have areas that you can take breaks on let the kids play on the playground equipment and then jump back on the trail and your quickly back into the woods. There are some hills on these paths, by Ohio standards, but there are plenty of flat spots.

Footing was good for mid-March - no mud! This hike is a fairly easy one with wide, well grromed paths. A good family outing. The 5.8 mile jaunt took us about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
