Munroe Falls Metro Park Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"This multifaceted park features a large swimming lake; during the summer, an admission fee is charged. Check the park website if you’re planning a hike during the swim season; several free-admission days are planned throughout the summer. And of course, the trail is inviting all year.
Tall beech and maple trees comprise most of the woodlands here, though you may also spot black gum, sassafras, shagbark hickory, and tulip trees along the trail. As you continue to climb, notice the wetlands below. (You can see more of them if you visit the Tallmadge Meadows Area, located just south of here off OH 91. The trails there are flat and partially paved and provide still more birding opportunities.)"
