Liberty Park: Twinsburg Ledges Professional Review and Guide
"Twinsburg Ledges has been a sweet and popular spot since it opened in 2011. And no wonder—a short but exciting trail makes the thrilling ledges more accessible than those at other area parks, such as Nelson-Kennedy Ledges State Park and Gorge Metro Park. And here, there’s the added attraction of a resident black bear—figuratively and, quite probably, literally as well.
Each spring, for the past several years, black bear sightings are reported in the Twinsburg area, particularly around the Ledges. Ready to go for a hike now? Just outside the nature center, the flat, 0.25-mile Maple Loop Trail gives visitors a
look around from this relatively high vantage point in northern Summit County. Once you’ve looped around, it may be time to head down to the ledges to see what’s below."
