Woodland Mound Hike

Woodland Mound Hike Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This trek explores just about every foot of every trail at Woodland Mound, a safe and family-friendly Hamilton County park perched high on a bluff above the Ohio River. First you will take the Hedgeapple Trail to visit three ponds.

Return to the trailhead and follow the Fitness Trail, a gravel path with exercise stations that heads to an old homesite. The main trail, a paved track by the name of Shared Use Trail, makes a loop through the heart of the park. On your way back to the trailhead, take a detour on the Seasongood Trail, which runs atop a steep wooded ridge. On the way back enjoy some rewarding views of the Ohio River and its boat traffic down below."
