Twin Creek MetroPark Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"There’s a lot to see at Twin Creek MetroPark. Some of it, though, requires a knowing eye. Park at the Eby Road parking lot and you get a scenic view of Germantown, Carlisle, and Miamisburg. Some interesting wildlife, like northern harriers, bobolinks, and grasshopper sparrows, are common on the ridgetop, so you may spot them fairly easily. Farther south in the park, and accessible by walking the 1.6 mile green trail, is what’s known as the Hopewell Earthwork. It’s a long, winding mound of raised earth 3 to 4 feet tall constructed 2,000 years ago by the Hopewell tribe."
