Hinckley Lake to Buckeye Trail to Whipp’s Ledges Loop Trail, Hinckley Reservation Professional Review and Guide
"This is, perhaps, one of the most diverse hikes in the Cleveland area, boasting an array of all-purpose, moderate lakeside and rough trail—the latter courtesy of the Buckeye Trail. Relax and enjoy the serenity of 90-acre Hinckley Lake, or put on your Spidey tights to climb on the giant boulders of Whipp’s Ledges.
It seems trite to describe any aspect of nature as “breathtaking,” “beautiful,” or “relaxing.” But the visually dominating 90-acre Hinckley Lake is worthy of all these descriptors, yet there’s absolutely nothing trite or boring about this portion of Hinckley Reservation’s mixture of crushed gravel, grassy, all-purpose, and forested trail.
Heading south you’ll begin hiking briefly along a small leg of the All-Purpose Trail with walkers and joggers passing you by."
