The Ledges Area of the Virginia Kendall Unit consists of rough terrain with rocks acting as literal stepping-stones throughout. Tiny Haskell Run loops through Happy Days Lodge and serves as a connection to the mostly dense, flat yet scenic Boston Run Trail. Returning to the Ledges via Haskell Run, you’ll hike along ridges surrounded by picnic tables and scenic views of the surrounding Cuyahoga Valley. A connector trail to the nearby Pine Grove Loop Trail offers an opportunity for more mileage. Feeling like a warrior? Pine Grove connects to the Kendall Lake trails (Hike 37) for another 6.5 miles of hiking possibilities.
