Poplar Loop at East Fork State Park

Poplar Loop at East Fork State Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"It is hard to find a relatively long hike in greater Cincinnati that doesn’t cross a road, but this hike accomplishes that. The trek, using the Steve Newman Worldwalker Perimeter Trail, meanders hilly shores of East Fork Lake, crossing numerous drainages, including big Poplar Creek.

Eventually, it meets the Backpack Loop, then makes a circuit amid high wooded bluffs and returns in deep forest. A backpacker campsite and shelter add overnighting possibilities to the hike."
