Ottawa Metro Park Campground Professional Review and Guide
"This park in Allen County is a very nice multi-use facility. It only takes in a bit over 287 acres, but there’s a 450-foot swimming beach with a 10-foot inflatable water slide for kids, as well as a “raindrop” water fountain. “Family Fun Days” at the beach that feature special events are scheduled when school’s out. There are a couple of playgrounds, too, and a beach house and changing station. An amphitheater hosts special programs every Sat night throughout summer. Away from the beach is a separate lake, Lake Lima. It’s 89 acres and is open to fishing— though shore access is not the best—and boating, with nonpowered craft and those with electric motors allowed. You can also hike. There’s a paved path throughout the park that winds through fields and woods."
