Walborn Reservoir Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"An excellent spring and fall crappie lake. Dale Walborn Reservoir covers 651 acres of water and is part of the Stark County Park District. The Walborn Reservoir Marina Park is popular with hikers, horseback riders, weekenders out for a scenic drive, and fishers. The marina has boat rental, a boat ramp, docks, and a wheelchair-accessible fishing pier.
Numerous pulloffs along the causeways and parking areas provide excellent shoreline access. From the marina, access to the dam and tailwaters is only a short walk away. Boats are limited between the German Church Causeway and the Reeder Avenue Causeway, because passage is not possible through those causeways. Key species: Largemouth bass, channel catfish, crappie, bluegill, ring perch, walleye."
