Silver Creek Lake

Silver Creek Lake Professional Review and Guide

"Good numbers of small bass, and a popular trout fishing lake. Silver Creek Lake is a small lake of approximately 50 acres and the centerpiece of the Silver Creek Metro Park. It is one of several community parks within Summit County.

The park has a beach, boat rental, hiking trails, and shelter houses. Fishing on the lake is subject to several restrictions. Key species: Largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill, channel catfish, perch; trout are stocked in spring."

This is a nice park with some walking trails. There are always people fishing in the lake and can be fun sitting and watching them to see what they get. You can swim in the lake too although I've never done it. It's definitely pretty in the fall with the change in colors. I like this place for walking and then sitting for a picnic with a good book when you're done.
Very nice and quiet local park.
