Ward Pound Ridge Star Loop

Ward Pound Ridge Star Loop Professional Review and Guide

"You could easily while away a day or two on the trails here and still not see the entire park. Its sublime scenery is a marvelous medley of hardwood forests, glacial ridges, lowland bogs, granite outcroppings, and high-rising bluffs, with a couple of ravines, a river, and a farreaching viewpoint as added attractions. The main trails are wide and very popular with family groups, while many narrower routes provide a more rugged experience."

April is too early for this park. Not much bird activity and not much to look at.The main lake is a nice site which is always loaded with ducks. If you get a chance take a stop at the hatchery. Crossed paths with some nice looking deer.
