Shelter Island-Coecles Harbor Marine Water Trail Professional Review and Guide

"Explore a scenic, protected harbor at an island accessible only by ferry.

Burns Road Ramp, Long Island Kayakers can launch from the end of Burns Road, into Coecles Harbor. If you’re coming from the south side of Long Island (NY 27), take Sandy Hollow Road (CR 52) to the left and then go left again onto North Sea Road (CR 38). Turn right on Noyack Road. Noyack Road turns into Noyac Road. Turn left on Noyack Long Beach Road (CR 60) and exit onto Ferry Road (NY 114). This will take you to the South Ferry, the Shelter Island–Sag Harbor route. The ferry runs daily every 10 to 15 minutes."
