Falling Waters Preserve

Falling Waters Preserve Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"An open meadow, burbling waterfalls, and wide water views distinguish this delightful protected area on the banks of the Hudson. When you visit Falling Waters Preserve and discover the charms of this little sanctuary tucked along the banks of the Hudson.

Take a moment to consider the good works of the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill, who had the foresight to safeguard this land and make the connection with local land trusts to protect it in perpetuity. The Dominican Sisters, who live adjacent to the preserve, have a stated Land Ethic as part of their official doctrine."
