"Don’t miss the two hidden falls in addition to the main attraction—they’re set back from the trail in their own shady glens. This hike includes 3 waterfalls. It’s a short walk from the picnic areas down an easy trail to Pixley Falls, a sheer cascade that shoots off a shale ledge to the plunge pool below. Magnificent in spring and after a good rain, this dramatic falls provides the highlight of this little state park. In addition to the main falls, smaller cascades on two little feeder streams provide secluded, well-sheltered spots to pause and appreciate this cluster of natural sights and sounds." Read more
