Coyote’s Den Trail leads into an undeveloped, forested area in the southern section of Ellison Park. You’ll walk a gradual uphill through the bottom of a ravine beside a small stream, with sharp hills rising all around. Return via the same route for an easy hike or take a yellow-blazed side trail to the top of the surrounding hills for a challenging loop. Many large trees can be found in this area, including a white oak listed in the National Registry of Big Trees. Surface: Dirt path.
