Middle Settlement Lake Hike

Middle Settlement Lake Hike Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Southwest of Old Forge, this all- day or overnight rolling meander through the forests and meadows of Ha- De- Ron- Dah Wilderness visits prized lakes.

Wildlife sightings, wilderness quiet, and a complete escape from the trappings of civilization make this a special outing. Because beaver activity and the trail’s sometimes sparse markings can compound the challenge, you’ll need to keep your wilderness skills sharp."

Several trails hiking and logging roads cross through this area. At times the trail and markers seem to disappear. Nice wildlife and scenery.
