Eagle Cliff Falls (Havana Glen) Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"The farther you go into the glen, the better the waterfall gets. This special place presents visitors with one long waterfall, but one that follows the twists and turns of a shale gorge sculpted by glacier activity.
Deep and narrow, the gorge creates a snug home for McClure Creek, which plunges through the shale layers to widen its path and cascade down a long series of crazily stacked, solid rock steps. Eagle Cliff Falls—named for the shape of the rock surrounding the falls, which looks like an eagle’s head—begins as a plume coming through a notch at the top of the glen, fanning out as it tumbles over the gorge’s slick steps and moss-covered walls."
