"Formerly known as Mystery Point, the land that encompasses Manitou Point Preserve once was owned by Edward Livingston, descendent of a signer of the Declaration of Independence, Philip Livingston. Today, the park totals 136 acres bordering a spectacular section of the Hudson River. A relatively easy hike, the park offers visitors and their best friends an opportunity to enjoy some of the most beautiful scenery the Hudson Valley has to offer."
