Escarpment Trail is a hiking trail in Albany County, New York. It is within John Boyd Thacher State Park. It is 3.1 miles long and begins at 1,144 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 6.4 miles with a total elevation gain of 2,945 feet. The Hailes Cave parking is near the trailhead. The Thacher Park Horseshoe II parking and the Thacher Park Glen Doone, Thacher Park Minelot, Thacher Park Horseshoe I, Overlook, and Thacher Park Overlook parkings can be seen along the trail. There are also a shelter and restrooms along the trail.
