Eldridge Wilderness Trails Professional Review and Guide

"You’re likely to have this 87-acre woods to yourself as you hike. It’s not a heavily used area. Trails are rudimentary to minimize species disturbance. Follow the blazes carefully. You’ll wander past lily of the valley patches, through a young deciduous forest to a pine forest, and past some deep ravines. Deer are abundant in these woods, and a few of the trees are labeled. Surface: Woods trail"

Lovely. It's a nice walk in a forest patch not so far away from Ithaca. But be careful because as the guide says the trails are rudimentary. What was supposed to be a quick walk for me took up the whole morning ... I got totally lost! I believe, I was supposed to follow WHITE blazes carefully but there were also some orange ties here and there, as well as plates of "the Nature Conservation" and I got confused.
