"Situated on 467 unspoiled acres in the northeast corner of Putnam County, Cranberry Mountain is a hidden gem for hikers and their canine pals. Owned and regulated by the Department of Environmental Conservation, the property is open to multiple users including hikers, mountain bikers, hunters, and dog trainers. As trails are unmarked, this hike is only suitable for those with a good sense of direction and a compass or GPS device. Contact the DEC prior to your visit to confirm hunting seasons."

A great diverse hike for off leash dogs. Definitely find out about hunting season prior to visiting. Use GPS app on your phone to follow trails.
