This is a beautiful, easy trail! We entered at Sleepy Hollow just after the school and walked north. At one spot, there is another trail that diverges from the aqueduct and goes down a hill to the left. Following that trail brings you to gorgeous views of the Hudson and nice areas for a picnic. Lots of runners and dog walkers also use OCA. The section from Sleepy Hollow north makes a lovely day's walk. No worry about getting lost either on the wide, straight trail with sign posts.

Ran 17 mi. out & back , Tarrytown (Tower 11 or 14, depending on map) to Ossining (Snowden Ave.). Varied terrain - dirt, mud, rock, asphalt, concrete. Passes thru woods, towns, parks, even residential backyards! Maybe five minutes of Hudson River sightings. Even w/an additional local map (recommended, www.aqueduct.org), I got good and lost a few times.
