Mount Frissell

Mount Frissell Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"You have to hit the road to tag the highest point in Connecticut because, at 2,372 feet, it is not a peak but a point on the southern shoulder of Massachusetts’s Mount Frissell.

It sits just below the summit and east of the marker for Tri-State Point, the shared boundary of NewYork, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.Access is by either NewYork’s South Taconic Trail or the trails of Massachusetts’s Mount Washington State Forest."
