Detailed Trail Descriptions from Our Guidebooks

    Bill Ingersoll
"Huggins Lake is an easy walk that involves a fair amount of climbing—600 feet heading in, and 200 feet on the return. However, the entire 1.9-mile walk is along a good road grade, and so none of these ascents are forbidding. Rather, the walk to this secluded pond nestled in its own basin is a great introduction to the rolling topography and open woods of the western Catskill region." Read more
