Letchworth State Park: Wolf Creek Cascade Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"See why this extended, four-part cascade is one of the most photographed spots in the park. The crowds fl ock to the big waterfalls at the Portageville (south) end of Letchworth Park, but this is my favorite spot: an elongated cascade, 25 feet wide and ten times that in length, with a network of paths and bridges to bring you as close to the top of the falls as possible without getting wet.
You can see part of the total cascade here, but there’s only one way to see the entire falls top to bottom: from below, perhaps on a whitewater rafting trip in spring and summer. The park does not permit access to the immense Genesee River Gorge from the rim, so there’s no way to walk down for a better view."
