Clarence Fahnestock Memorial State Park: Three Lakes Trail Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Find some real solitude among the ponds, lakes, gentle forested hills, and back roads of this tranquil park. Just east of Hudson Highlands State Park Preserve lies a park more than twice the size of the Highlands, a protected area large enough to allow visitors to find quiet places and solitude without running into hordes of eager hikers.
Clarence Fahnestock Memorial State Park began as a 2,400-acre wilderness donated to New York State by Dr. Ernest Fahnestock in 1929, creating a memorial to his brother Clarence that would endure for many generations."
