"Relatively deep and slow moving, this warm-water stream snakes up from Pennsylvania and runs north for about 10 miles. En route it picks up the Canisteo River. About 3 miles further it joins the Cohocton River, a union which forms the Chemung River. Key species: Smallmouth bass, walleye, and channel catfish"
