TRT Kingsbury North to Sierra Canyon

TRT: Kingsbury North to Sierra Canyon Professional Review and Guide

"Mountain bikers should love a trip with so much singletrack downhill, but strong hikers up for a 16-mile jaunt should find plenty to like as well on this rolling route along a section of the Tahoe Rim Trail (TRT ) followed by the extended, zigzagging descent down Sierra Canyon to the town of Genoa.

Occasional views of Lake Tahoe from the TRT and sweeping vistas across Carson Valley to the Pine Nut Mountains down Sierra Canyon provide visual highlights. Water is extremely scarce along almost the entire route, so be sure to pack plenty for the long day’s journey."
