Toms Canyon Trail

Toms Canyon Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"An overnight or longer backpack trip providing access to the upper Reese River country and the Toiyabe Crest National Recreation Trail. The Toms Canyon Trail follows Toms Canyon, then crosses a 9,360-foot pass between Peavine and Mahogany Mountains. This pass is a good destination for a day hike.

The trail continues north down Trail Creek about 2 miles to join the Toiyabe Crest National Recreation Trail. A three-day loop trip could be completed using the Peavine Canyon Trail, and longer trips could use the Crest Trail and the North Twin River Trail."
