Mosquito Creek Trail

Mosquito Creek Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"A long day hike or overnight backpack trip in the Monitor Range offering access to Table Mountain from the west and a possible loop with the South Mosquito Creek Trail. The Mosquito Creek Trail is not signed, but you can reach it from the parking area by crossing the creek to the south. Turn left (southeast) at a fork in the trail just after crossing the creek. The trail is used regularly (especially by horse parties) and is very easy to follow.

It climbs onto the ridge south of Mosquito Creek and follows it southeast about 3.5 miles. It crosses a pass at 9,400 feet, then descends and crosses the South Fork of Mosquito Creek before making the final climb to Table Mountain on its gentle western slope."
