Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"A day hike in the Toiyabe Range offering easy access to Arc Dome Wilderness and the Toiyabe Crest National Recreation Trail. The trail starts at an 8,000-foot saddle then drops east 1.2 miles into the Reese River Canyon.

This route is a popular, short access to the Reese River country, and also connects with the Toiyabe Crest National Recreation Trail. It is possible to create a four-day or longer loop backpack trip using the Crest Trail and the North Twin River Trail."
