"The Oak Creek trail is a nice, easy, pleasant hike for you and your dog. It offers scenic views of Rainbow Mountain and Mount Wilson, as well as the Calico Hills on your return trip. The first portion of the trail is well graded, while the second portion is a bit more rugged. This is a great trail to take your dog hiking on, because you can get some easy exercise in the beginning of the hike with a bit of adventure once you are in the canyon. Under foot and paw: Dirt trail and rocky wash." Read more
