No longer live in Las Vegas but I used to go to this park all the time. It's a nice, quiet little oasis in the city. Great for photo shoots too. It's one area in Vegas that always reminded me of the northeast, especially in the fall when the trees changed color. Nice place for a picnic, to take a walk or just sit out with a book and relax.

Not the most attractive time of the year for a visit. Need to pay $5.00 to get into park. Lots of peacocks, several dozen, one of them is albino. It looked like a snowflake when it opened it's tail. Looks like the area is mostly used for fishing is time of year. Lots of picnic areas, water and things of interest. Not really a hiking area. But we managed to get a mile in walking around the grounds. Great area for bird watching.
