Late Night

Late Night Professional Review and Guide

"The Late Night Trail is a more advanced version of the Beginner Loop, meaning it requires a higher skill set. Instead of making a quick circle, this trail heads out into the desert at the foothills of the Red Rock Escarpment combining a challenging ride with some of the best scenery you’re likely to find in all of Cottonwood. It ends with the same climb up Mustang as does the Beginner Loop, meaning, in the end, you have to pay for that great scenery!

The Late Night Trail starts at the Late Night parking lot, initially following the same trail as the Beginner Loop. However, instead of taking the first turnoff, or even the
second turnoff, Late Night continues on the trail, crossing a couple of dirt roads, until it winds its way around a large dirt mound and heads into the desert. At the point where the trail turns to the right, you can see a collection of tunnels to the left. These tunnels provide an underpass to State Route 160 and eventually lead to the Dead Horse Loop."
