Southgate Trail

Southgate Trail Professional Review and Guide

"The Southgate trail is an offshoot trail that hooks the Spicer Ranch Trail to the Junction Trail. While the first part of the trail is a long gradual climb, once you do reach the Junction Trail and head back, you’re in for a fun, fast downhill ride along one of the largest washes in the Oasis Valley. This combination makes the Southgate Trail a great trail for anyone looking to hone skills.

The trailhead is to the east of the parking lot just on the other side of the cattle guard. Cross the cattle guard and head along the dirt road to the left toward a sign directing
you to the STORM Trail and camping area. Turn right as the dirt road makes its way to a metal gate. Remember, the Spicer Ranch is a working ranch."
