Lehman Cave

Lehman Cave Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"An easy, ranger-guided walk through Lehman Cave in Great Basin National Park, one of the most highly decorated caves of its size in the world. Lehman Cave, though small compared with famous caves such as Carlsbad Caverns, is highly decorated with cave formations—well worth the visit.

For the protection of these resources, park rangers lead guided walks through the cave. Check at the visitor center for walk times, fees, and advance ticket sales. Groups are limited to thirty. Some of the cave passages are narrow; camera tripods and backpacks are not allowed. Sections of the trail through the cave may be wet and slippery—the path ascends and descends several sets of stairs."

I guess I am not much of a cave guy. But the rangers are very knowledgeble. And make for a good tour guide. But, for me it was just to boring and slow. If they cut the tour down in half that would be fine with me.
Bring a jacket. The cave is constant 50 degrees year round.
You shouldn't bring flashlights or head lamps in my opinion, you will just make the cave nerds mad.
