Can Young Canyon

Can Young Canyon Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"An easy, low-elevation hike in Great Basin National Park that’s great in early season. This is a good hike for early season, before the snow has melted from the high country. Walk up the road from the park boundary. The road appears to be used very occasionally, so it makes a nice footway. You’ll have a good view of the impressive cliffs to the left of the road. The road reaches a T-intersection at a cattle watering trough in Kious basin. Turn right, downhill, and follow the old road as it swings around another impressive cliff."
