Murdocks Hole

Murdocks Hole Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This riparian route passes by pleasant hot springs, an old cow camp, and spectacular volcanic cliffs and formations in the rugged Gila River canyon. Good campsites abound.

There may be some ?shing opportunities. This route has lots of river crossings, especially during the first few miles. However, with the aid of neoprene socks and a sturdy pair of river shoes, the trip is pleasant during low water. But when the river is raging, look for a user-friendlier upland hike instead."
