Alamo Alamos Vista Trail

Alamo (Alamos) Vista Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This trail is the most recent addition to hikes in the vicinity of the ski area. It originates adjacent to the Aspen Vista parking lot and trailhead. Placed at the trailhead is a plaque, dedicating the trail to an extraordinary young woman, Tessa Horan, who lost her life while serving in the Peace Corps in 2006. This trail is a fitting tribute to her, as it takes the hiker to a beautiful meadow, through stands of amazing aspens, and to mountain views worth all the effort of a rather steep hike.

At this time, this trail is so new that it is not yet found on USFS or USGS maps. It is sometimes referred to as Alamos Trail."
