Reserve - Mogollon Area Campgrounds Professional Review and Guide
"These two communities are located in Catron County, which boasts the lowest population per square mile of any county in the state. Believe it or not, even the campgrounds aren’t crowded. Don’t come here looking for the touristy side of New Mexico; there’s probably not a Mexican-food restaurant in the whole county. What you will find is beautiful country and miles of poorly maintained roads to explore. Bring a fishing pole and a good book and plan to stay awhile. It also wouldn’t hurt to bring a winch in case you get stuck, because it will be a long wait for help in this county.
Campgrounds included in this eTrail are: Ben Lilly, Bursam, Gilita, Head of the Ditch, Pueblo Park, Quemado Lake Recreation Area, Snow Lake (Dipping Vat), Willow Creek."
