Whiterocks Loop

Whiterocks Loop Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This hike traverses broad mesas with outstanding views of vast
canyons and cliffs in a lightly used area of wilderness. Exotic formations of remote white volcanic tuff are a delight to climb and explore.

This day hike loop begins at the trailhead high above the East Fork valley. From this vantage point you can view the spectacular cliffs of the East Fork as well as the walls of Cement Canyon to the northeast. You also have a preview of the trail stretching over the bench and down to the banks of the East Fork. Follow the earth pathway, marked with cairns, downward, toward the river to the west."
