Glorieta Canyon Ghost Town

Glorieta Canyon Ghost Town Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Take a break from yucca and cacti for a cool hike through aspen and spruce. The shaded canyon route visits relics from the last century, while short side paths lead to abandoned mines. Vintage cars stuck along the trail suggest it was once a horrible road. The traffic now is an intermittent stream of mountain bikers, equestrians, and hikers with pack-mule dogs."

Very good trails - map available online so be sure to take it - trail marked with markers, but there are other trails not on the map that bikers and hikers have made themselves. Beautiful views and lots to see and you won't ever get bored.

Just be careful on the road to the parking area as it is not the best for a vehicle. :)
