San Francisco Hot Springs

San Francisco Hot Springs Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"A short but popular hike to some hot springs along the banks of the San Francisco River.

San Francisco Hot Springs is a series of hot springs that lie on the bank of the San Francisco River just after it enters a deep, narrow canyon. People build pools on the sandy bank right above the river. Floods regularly wash out the pools, but people rebuild them. This hike is quite popular. Clothing isn’t always worn by people soaking in the springs, so be prepared. Take water shoes or sandals for the river crossings."

It was a nice and easy hike. Although if you are looking for a big hot spring this one isn't it. We found a small spring that was rather warm just not very big. I am glad we went and would go again it was a beautiful hike.
