Forest Road 226 is a hiking, biking, and horse trail in Sierra County, New Mexico. It is within Gila National Forest. It is 18.3 miles long and begins at 7,355 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 36.8 miles with a total elevation gain of 5,946 feet. Turkey Spring, Campers Cave Spring, Wire Spring, and another spring, the JHW Well and Lucky Well water wells, and the Wall Street Mine (elevation 6,434 feet) and Silver Bar Mine (elevation 7,106 feet) quarries can be seen along the trail. There is also a water tank along the trail.
