Oso Corredor Trail

Oso Corredor Trail Professional Review and Guide

"Located on the eastern slope of the Sandias off the Crest Highway; about 30 miles northeast of Albuquerque. Oso Corredor, which means "running bear" in Spanish, is one of the newest trails in the system on East Mountain. The year the trail was finished , a drought had driven many bears down into the foothills and may be the reason for the name.

Built as a connector trail, Oso Corredor must be reached from either Tree Spring Trail (north) or Bill Spring Trail (south). This loop incorporates both-0.3 mile on Tree Spring Trail and all of Bill Spring Trail, which is smooth and wide, descending along a small creek lined with large oak trees. Note: Many mountain bikers use Oso Corredor as a northern extension of Faulty Trail. 4.5 miles on singletrack and 4.1 miles on pavement."
