South Baldy Trail #11 Professional Reviews and Guides

"Gorgeous ponderosa pine forests give way to mixed conifers and aspens as desert melds into wonderful alpine scenery. The stupendous views on the way up and near the top of South Baldy Peak stretch in all directions.

The Rio Grande Valley sprawls to the east, and to the west you’ll be looking across the plains of San Augustin. Although this ride is arduous, it is definitely worth the push."
